The eleventh creation of the Granizo Series, an Imperial Stout aged in wine barrels with Brett and the addition of cherries, at 10% ABV. Selva Negra has chewy, wild aromas derived from the Brett; you can sense the wine character blended with the base style’s notes of cocoa, coffee, and roasted malts. The cherry is present on the nose and exceptional on the palate, perfectly balancing the lactic acidity provided by our microscopic friends.
