Crafty Dee’s Brewing Co. is a craft brewery and brewpub based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, recognized as one of the pioneers of the city’s modern craft beer scene. Founded by Chintu Patel, the brewery grew from small-scale experimentation into Dar es Salaam’s first brewpub, where beers are brewed on site and served directly to guests. Located in the Masaki district, the venue combines a restaurant, beer garden, and brewing facility where visitors can observe the brewing process while enjoying a range of house beers. Using carefully developed recipes and organic ingredients, Crafty Dee’s produces a variety of styles and has received recognition at the African Beer Cup, contributing to the growth of independent craft brewing in East Africa.
