Gorštak Craft Brewery, founded in 2016 and based in Glamočani near Banja Luka, is an independent craft brewery rooted in regional identity and natural brewing practices. As the first craft brewery in the Banja Luka region, Gorštak produces unfiltered beers using its own recipes, combining modern brewing techniques with traditional ingredients, local herbs, spices, and honey. Emphasizing authenticity and quality, the brewery avoids artificial additives and focuses on expressing the character of natural raw materials, while its name—meaning “Highlander”—pays tribute to the strength and heritage of the surrounding mountain communities.
