Hutton & Smith Brewing Co. is an independent craft brewery based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, founded in 2015 by Joel and Melanie Krautstrunk. Inspired by a love of beer, geology, and cats, the brewery combines scientific precision with playful creativity — producing award-winning beers that have earned multiple medals at the Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup. What began as a 7-barrel downtown operation quickly expanded into a 30-barrel production facility, growing alongside Chattanooga’s thriving craft community.
