Opillia Brewery is a historic brewing enterprise located in Ternopil, Ukraine, with roots reaching back to the late 19th century. Originally founded as one of the first steam-powered breweries in the region, the facility quickly became a central supplier of beer to taverns and restaurants throughout the city. Over the course of more than a century, the brewery continued operating through wars, nationalization, and the economic transitions that followed Ukraine’s independence. In the modern era, Opillia has undergone extensive modernization while maintaining a focus on brewing traditional “live beer” according to Ukrainian brewing heritage. Today, the brewery combines historical legacy with contemporary production and remains an important part of the brewing culture of the Ternopil region.
