Rivne Brewery (Bergschloss) is a historic brewing enterprise located in Rivne, in the region of Volhynia, Ukraine, with roots tracing back to the late 19th century. Originally operating as the Bergschloss Steam Brewery, the facility grew into one of the most important brewing centers of the region during the early 20th century, supplying beer, yeast, and soft drinks across Volhynia. Throughout a century marked by wars, nationalization, and political change, brewing continued on the site, preserving a long-standing local tradition. Following Ukraine’s independence, the historic Bergschloss brand was revived, and today the brewery combines modern production with the preservation of regional brewing heritage, highlighted by the opening of the Museum of Hop Growing and Brewing of Historical Volhynia in 2025.
